Our sessions are lovingly designed for preschool children aged 18 months to 9 years. However, we welcome younger babies and older siblings too — please just let us know in advance so we can ensure there are suitable invitations to play for everyone.
Yes. Our sessions are designed as shared experiences where adults and children co-play, discover, and wonder together. You remain responsible for your child’s supervision throughout the session.
We play in all weathers, so dressing for the season is essential! Think:
• Cold/wet days: Waterproofs, wellies, thermals, gloves, and layers.
• Warm/sunny days: Sun hats, sun cream applied before arrival, closed-toe shoes, and light layers.
We recommend clothing that’s okay to get muddy, wet, or painted — we learn through mess and movement!
Outdoor Explorers celebrates every season — rain, wind, and sunshine all bring new learning opportunities. We’ll only cancel if weather conditions become unsafe (e.g. high winds or storms). If we do need to cancel, you’ll be offered a refund or a transfer to another session.
Absolutely! Sibling discounts are available. We aim to provide play opportunities suitable for mixed-age siblings, and you’re welcome to bring younger or older children. Please book all attending children in advance so we can plan accordingly.
We offer a range of open-ended, curiosity-inspired play invitations — think mud kitchens, nature potions, loose parts, den building, storytelling, art with natural materials, and seasonal crafts. Activities are child-led, exploratory, and ever-changing.

If you need to cancel, let us know at least 48 hours in advance. We don't offer refunds but we may be able to offer a credit if there’s enough notice and space on future sessions.
We love capturing memories, but please be mindful of other families’ privacy. Feel free to take photos of your own child enjoying the session. We may take photos for our social media or promotional materials — only with your consent, of course.
Yes! Outdoor Explorers isn’t a class — it’s an invitation. Children are free to explore, observe, engage, or simply be in nature. There’s no pressure to join in anything specific. We follow their lead, gently scaffolding their learning and confidence over time.
